Dr. Mario Alberti was raised in Sherman Oaks, California, and attended Loyola Marymount University for his undergraduate studies. While volunteering as a dental assistant in 1981 he decided to make dentistry a career. In 1983, he moved to Chicago to study at Northwestern University Dental School. After graduation, he worked as an associate in “The Loop” in Downtown Chicago. In 1988, he moved to San Diego where he practiced as a dental associate in Tierrasanta until he established his own solo practice in La Jolla in 1996. In April of 2004, Dr. Alberti moved to his current location in San Diego.

Dr. Alberti maintains current knowledge on the latest technology through active membership in several professional organizations including: The American Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Association, and The California Dental Association.

Dr. Alberti has been awarded “San Diego’s Top Dentist” by San Diego Magazine for several consecutive years and has been consistently ranked as one of the Best General Dentists in the San Diego area.

When not in the office Dr. Alberti spends his time building fine-scale auto models and restoring cars, and bicycle riding.
